Awesome robot can catch a tennis ball

with one comment

This robot called Toto can catch a flying tennis ball, when it is thrown to it.
It looks entertaining, but it may be useful for industrial robots when transporting things between robots by throwing and catching.

The robot, Toto, was developed the Reinhold-Würth University in Künzelsau in cooperation with the Institute of Computer Technology, TU Vienna.

  1. Good points addressed here. I am thankful to you for that, still you deserve more thanks than that. I have colour blindness. I mainly use Firefox browser and regard a number of sites are hard to apprehend thanks to a incautious range of colours applied. Nonetheless, here, as the range of colours is good, the design is highly tidy and enjoyable to comprehend. I don’t know whether it was a premeditated and conscious undertaking, or just the ‘luck of the draw’, but I nevertheless thank you.
